Personal Training 

At SEFC we have our own personal trainers available to help you meet your personal fitness goals!

Catherine Larkin has 25 years in the fitness industry. She is a certified personal trainer through the elite certification body: American College of Sports Medicine. Her other significant certifications include group fitness and a seniors fitness specialty through AFAA. She also has studied basic nutrition for health and weight management through AFAA. She is a certified Hatha Yoga teacher in the States and has received additional extensive training with Dannis Rose in Dublin, Ireland. She has experience working with many varied populations. Catherine handles most of the orientations with new members to familiarize them with the equipment and help them start their exercise program.

Bill McLaughlin is manager of the facility and specializes in sport specific training. Tired of the same old workout? Want to improve your swimming or golf game? He will set you up with a specific program to help you improve the activities that are important to you. He has completed significant coursework in: exercise physiology, kinesiology and anatomy and physiology. Bill is a former swimmer and triathlete, who has worked with almost every possible population: from grandpas, to moms, and elite athletes. He has worked with athletes in the field of: soccer, swimming, triathlons, dressage, tennis, golf, basketball, skiing and running. He also has his personal training certification through the American College of Sports Medicine.

The cost for personal training is $50 per hour. See the desk attendant if you would like to schedule an appointment.
